We had such a wonderful time seeing friends and family at the shower! Thank you so much for coming out to see us. Hope to see you all at the Painted Lamb Festival in August with Mocha!

Diapers

We're 99% decided on doing cloth diapers with diaper service. We'll be using www.babycarediaper.com, the one and only diaper service in the St Louis area. We're happy to receive any and all cloth diapering tips, triumphs and terrors, since we have no idea what we're doing!

A registry of sorts

We have set up a small registry on Target, but please consider used items or making them yourself. Craigslist.org and ebay have tons of baby items, as do Goodwill and Savers, and there are many retail shops that specialize in used baby paraphanelia (for example, Once Upon a Child). If you are buying new, please consider organic materials or wood rather than plastic when possible.

The baby's room has goldfish on the walls, so we'd like to continue the nature/animals theme. For personal and cultural reasons, we request that you consider more than the blue vs pink color palette.

Welcome to our baby blog.

We are going to use this site to keep you posted on the baby's status (currently about two pounds).
A baby shower is planned for February 14th, 1-5 at Amber's house in Minneapolis. The next post will have information about our baby registry.
